About Jamie

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Supervisor to clinicians gaining hours for the State of Texas, both MFT and LPC Track. I have been a part of this Private Practice since 2012, and a clinician since 2008. I am proud to take Magnolia Counseling of Pearland to the next step of success as Co-Owner.

Julie Ung

About Julie

I have worked as a Marriage & Family Therapist in community mental health and private settings since 2008. I provide individual, family and couples counseling. I am trained in play therapy techniques and trauma focused care. I also am trained in working with couples using EFT (Emotions Focused Therapy) as well as specialized training in infidelity repair. Choosing to engage in counseling is a very courageous action and I am humbled to walk through the journey with my clients towards a healthy relationship with self and others. I am married and a mother to 2 boys who keep my life very busy and exciting. I enjoy hiking and fishing, playing piano/guitar, and tending to my orchids in my downtime.

 

As Co-Owner of Magnolia Counseling of Pearland, I am proud to have a team of clinicians that offer compassionate and qualified care to the Pearland community. I pride myself on building a diverse team who can provide specialized care in different modalities. We are honored to continue to be your trusted community mental health provider team.

About Ercelia (She/her)

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counseling who has experience working in mental health and private settings for over five years. During this time, I’ve assisted individuals with navigating through anxiety, depression, grief/loss and substance abuse. Techniques used: Cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy and motivational interviewing. I provide therapy for adults, adolescents/teens, couples and families.

 

My goal is to assist with tools to heal, gain strength, and challenge negative thoughts enabling forward movement to a brighter future. 

I enjoy meeting people, learning new things and socializing with family and friends. I strive to create a safe place for clients to feel heard, accepted, respected, validated and supported.

About Summiya:

 

Summiya is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Family Therapy at the Abilene Christian University with an expected graduate date in 2026. She has over 4 years of experience providing psychological services in diverse settings, including schools, rehabilitation centers, and community mental health programs. She is skilled in conducting individual, group, and family therapy, and relationship counseling using evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and trauma-informed care.


Summiya's professional journey includes diverse experiences across Lahore and Doha, where she's had the opportunity to work in various multicultural settings to support children and families through academic, emotional, and behavioral challenges. These experiences have enriched her ability to understand and support clients from a wide range of backgrounds.  Her clinical experience also includes supporting clients through relationship and marital issues, infidelity, divorce and co-parenting adjustments, and the unique challenges faced by single parents. She has worked extensively with clients dealing with anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions — always with a focus on cultural sensitivity and family dynamics.

Summiya is fluent to counsel in English, Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi (Indian).

About Deborah

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 12 years working in mental health and private settings specializing in eating disorders, anxiety and depression.  I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and motivational interviewing in treatment.  I provide individual therapy for adults and adolescents as well as couples and marriage therapy. 

My husband and I love to read and hike with our dogs.

About Cheyne (she/her)

I specialize in supporting children, teens, young adults and families who are navigating life transitions. My goal is to help you build emotional resilience and develop coping skills to navigate life’s challenges with confidence. Clients are able to author their own story as they move toward healing. I provide a compassionate, confidential, judgment free, and safe environment where we work together to build emotional resilience and develop healthier ways to life’s challenges. I offer group therapy to help clients benefit from shared
experiences and peer support not available in individual therapy.

I bring over twenty years of experience working with children in educational
settings, which has deeply informed her commitment to supporting individuals and families through life's challenges. I am passionate about people and dedicated to helping them navigate their unique paths to wellness.

Under the supervision of Julie Ung, LPC-S and LMFT-S, I strive to create a collaborative, compassionate, and safe therapeutic environment. I welcome the opportunity to work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, trauma, and major life transitions.

About Leah
 

Leah provides trauma responsive care to tweens, teens, and adults. She is passionate about the healing power of connection in relational trauma. Leah is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trained in DBT, and is also pursuing the designation of Certified Clinical Partner Specialist through an organization called APSATS (Affair Partner and Sex Addict Trauma Specialists). Leah is also A Door of Hope Peer Facilitator, with experience in providing group support for women with betrayal trauma. Her heart is to build safe communities where betrayed partners are educated, empowered, and experience hope. Leah lives in the Pearland area. Outside of the office she enjoys
spending time with family, CrossFit, good books, and sushi.

About Lele

 

I have obtained my Bachelor's degree in 2022 from Prairie View A&M University in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. My passion is to aid and facilitate the recovery process for you as the Front Office Administrator for MCP and assist you with getting the help you deserve. I plan to further my passion by pursuing my own counseling degree as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the future. In my free time I enjoy building objects, reading, and serving at church in my young adult ministry.
